The British Library Extension

Value: £900m

The British Library procured a development of its 3 acre land in St Pancras into a mixed use scheme comprising a 100,000ft2 extension to the Library, 550,000ft2 of lab enabled offices, and a Crossrail2 infrastructure. GDV £900m. Part of the land is safeguarded for Crossrail2. the project is a partnership with Stanhope -Mitsui and TfL.

Strategy&Projects supported the British Library through the negotiation of Development Agreements and long leases with Stanhope-Mitsui and TfL and during the planning stage.

Lennox Point Urban Extension

Client: Portsmouth City Council

Location: Portsmouth

Type: Residential and employment zone

Masterplanner: Gensler

Architect: Allies & Morrison

Value: £1.4bn

Portsmouth City Council bought Tipner peninsula to develop a new urban village of 3,500 residential units and marine employment zone that would create employment and respond to the need for housing for middle income households currently outpriced within the City. The development will be a pedestrian first environment and promote exemplar sustainability credentials. 

Strategy&Projects was in charge of first phase of the programme. We developed a viable and attractive scheme, engaging with planning authority and stakeholders, getting buy-in and support and increasing the scheme's value.

High Wycombe Station Quarter

Type: Urban Regeneration

Value: £800m

High Wycombe station quarter has been identified by the Council as an area in need for regeneration to help revive the town’s economy. The town is well located to profit from the flight to more rural locations and from good transport links to London and Oxford.

 

Strategy&Projects developed for the Council a viable mixed-use regeneration masterplan for 900 residential units and 700,000ft2 office. £800m GDV. 6 phases development strategy and a delivery plan.

London Paramount

Location: Kent

Type: Theme Park

Masterplanner: Farrels

Value: £3.5bn

The largest destination theme park outside of Disney or Universal organisation. 2 gates, 300,000ft2 retail, F&B district, 4,000 hotel keys, 60,000 visitors/day. First commercial NSIP, applying for DCO. Capital value £3.5bn.

Strategy&Projects provided development management services for the master-planning and planning, setting up and leading a team of 100+ consultants.
